The new bridge.

 As Elton John sings, "The bridge, bridge, the bridge is back!"  (OK, maybe he doesn't say "bridge," but it works!)

An amazing feat happened this morning as a group of us met and assembled a new bridge on the SIUE trail to replace the one at the bottom of the hill when you pass the big oak tree ("Statue of Liberty").  In 1.5 hours we carried two 30-foot telephone poles from Whiteside down a path to the creek, set them in place and screwed in planks all the way across.  A special thanks to the awesome workers who showed up:
