Saturday, December 11, 2010. 9:30 AM Start.
The race go's regardless of rain, sleet, snow, ice, mud, muck, etc ...

Disclaimer Note: Should the Park Service close Pere Marquette State Park due to severe inclement weather, the Metro Tri Club will cancel the Pere Marquette Endurance Trail Run and offer no refunds.

Registration

Registration  will begin at midnight on Sept 1st. Online registration only on ACTIVE.COM. 

Be prepared to supply one of the following peices of information:

• Overall place at Pere Marquette from 2007,2008,2009
• Latest 10K time
• Estimate for a 10K

 650 participant limit.  Last year the race filled in less than 48 hours.

What is it? 

An off-road 7.5 mile Trail Run. We run along single-track trails through the scenic Pere Marquette State Park. Ours is considered the toughest & most grueling race in the Midwest!

Who?   

You ... that is if you are a runner looking to get off the road & try a real challenge.  We accept no Wimps or Whiners. Harsh penalties exist for anyone caught looking Wimpish or acting Whiner-like.
 
Note:    Minimum age is 14 years old as of race date.

Course?   

7.5 miles over very hilly terrain. Racers start in heats (every 30 seconds) according to one of the following:

• Previous finish time at Pere Marquette
• Previous 10K time
• Estimated 10K time 

Lodging?   

Stay at the Lodge or there are many fine B&B's in the Alton and Grafton area.

Packet Pick-Up?   

Race-Day morning in the Lodge - 7:30 am till 9:15 am. 
 

Pre-Race Meeting? 

Race-Day morning, 9:00 am in the Lodge.

Awards? 

• Top Female/Male finisher Overall ... 1 Award Each
• Age Group Awards
  Open Male: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
                     40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
                     65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
  Open Female: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,

• Three awards in each age group.
  
• Male / Female Masters (40 years old +) ... 1 Award Each
  (Masters award winners not eligible for Age Group awards)
• Male Clydesdale (200+ lbs). (3 awards).
  (Clydesdale award winners not eligible for Age Group awards)
• Awards will be presented at noon.

• No Race-Day Sign-Up

 Results will be posted on our web site's Results Archive.

Rules?

• To be eligible for an award, the runner must complete the entire race course.
• Bandits will be disqualified & prohibited from future races.
• Our Wave Start is strictly enforced, no early starters.
